Inmate facing drug charges
Nesquehoning police are investigating a case where an inmate at the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, brought drugs into the facility.
Police said they were called there on Nov. 30 after Sherri Simmons, 3135 Fairyland Road, Lehighton, brought "speed" into the jail. Police said the woman admitted to the offense.
