Cited for driving under suspension

Troy Fairchild, 11 Willow Lane, Nesquehoning, has been arrested by Nesquehoning police for driving while under suspension and for failure to meet required financial responsibilities.

Police said he was observed on Nov. 28 traveling north on Rt. 209 in a Ford Ranger. Knowing the man's license was suspended, Chief Sean Smith stopped the vehicle near the Liberties in Jim Thorpe, after which time it was confirmed that the man's license was suspended. The vehicle's registration was also suspended due to insurance cancellation, polilce said.
