Veterinarian issued bad check

State police at the Schuylkill Haven said a Pine Grove man who issued a bad check to a veterinarian has been cited.

The victim is Redtail Veterinarian Services, Owrigsburg.

Police said Barry Hertzog, 67, of 36 Marstown Alley, summoned the services of a traveling veterinarian on May 29 to attend to a horse. Upon rendering the services, Hertzog issued a check that has not cleared the bank because of insufficient funds.
