Minor injury in Lehigh crash

One person sustained minor injury in a one-vehicle crash Sunday at 12:32 a.m. on Interstate 78 in Upper Saucon Township, according to state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said Connor D. Morgan, 18, of Leesburg, Va., a passenger in the vehicle, was the person hurt.

Police said Shervin Poor, 21, of Newton, Maine, was driving the 2007 Toyota Scion westbound when it went out of control on the wet roadway, slid off the right side and struck an embankment.

Neither Poor nor another passenger, Lydia A. Blackburn, 19, of Needham, Mass., were hurt.

The driver was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
