Woman is facing retail theft charge

State police at the Fogelsville barracks were summoned at 11:13 a.m. Dec. 19 to investigate a retail theft incident at the WalMart store in Lower Macungie Township.

Police did not identify the accused, but said she entered the store with am empty shopping cart and proceeded to the electronics section of the store where she placed three items into the cart. The woman then went to the custimer service counter where she returned two of the three items without a receipt for a gift card valued at $63.52, and exited the store with the gift card and the third item.
