St. Jerome's

St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church, West Broad Street, will celebrate the Feast of the Solemnity of Mary, which is a Holy Day of Obligation. Vigil Masses will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 4 and 7 p.m., and for the Feast Day on Friday, Jan. 1 at 10 a.m.

The parish office will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 31 and Friday, Jan. 1. The office will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4.

Zion Lutheran

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenwood and Mauch Chunk streets, will hold a 9:30 a.m. worship service for Sunday, Jan. 3. Sunday School resumes on Sunday, Jan. 10.

The Stewardship Group will meet Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. in the church library. The group will review plans for use of the ELCA's Make It Simple stewardship program. Any interested member of the congregation is welcome to attend.
