The engagement of Heather Lynn Embrey of Lehighton to Nicholas James Butcher, also of Lehighton, has been announced by her mother.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy Embrey of Palmerton. She is a 2000 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned an associate degree in medical assisting. She is employed by Community Health Systems in Bethlehem.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Donna Butcher of Ruislip, England. He is a graduate of Berks Technical Institute, where he studied massage therapy. He is employed by Structural Metal Fabricators in Palmerton.
A wedding is planned for May 19, 2018.
