Jeanette and Robert Strausberger

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strausberger, of Palmerton, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 9, 1967, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehighton by the Rev. Edward Cloughen.

Mrs. Strausberger is the former Jeanette Eisenhower, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eisenhower of Lehighton. Her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eaches of Lehighton.

The couple has two children: Robert Jr. and his wife, Debbie, of Lehighton; and Tracey and her husband, Dwain, also of Lehighton.

The have six grandchildren: Sabrina, Mason and Baylee Strausberger, and Nakea Beers, Jayden and Cameron Gable.

The Strausbergers celebrated with a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica with their children and grandchildren.
