Lancaster County man facing drug count

A Lancaster County man is facing a driving under the influence of a controlled substance charge drug counts following an incident at 6:56 p.m. July 6.

State police at Lehighton said a 21-year-old from Manheim Township was stopped along Route 209 at the entrance to the turnpike in Franklin Township for a vehicle code violation. The man was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, troopers said.

Troopers, who declined to give the suspect's name, said charges are pending test results.
