DUI ARRESTS

State Police at Lehighton released the following driving under the influence cases:

• A 23-year-old man from Bangor is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol for an incident at 9:59 p.m. July 8 near the Lehigh Canal in Weissport.

• A 36-year-old woman from Kunkletown has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and recklessly endangering the welfare of a child after a one-vehicle crash at 10:10 p.m. June 29 at 892 Burger Hollow Road in Polk Township.

Police learned the woman was under the influence of the controlled substance. Her 2-year-old daughter was a back-seat passenger who was unsecured in a child safety seat.

No injuries were reported.

• A 32-year-old man is facing charges after a traffic stop at 1:42 a.m. July 8 along Spruce Hollow Road in Towamensing Township.

Police said the man was transported to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood-alcohol test.

Police did not release the names of those facing charges.
