Lansford police log

Lansford police have charged the following people with breaking the law.

• Ann Lutz, 50, Tamaqua: Charged with driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 5. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 2 before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek of Lansford.

• Corey Daldos, 20, Lansford: Charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on May 20. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Aug. 16 before Kosciolek.

• Greg Sperlbaum, 49, Lansford: Charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on June 28. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 26 before Kosciolek.

• Roberto Magobet, 39, Lansford: Charged with terroristic threats and harassment on May 26. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Aug. 9 before Kosciolek.

• Hunter Skidmore, 19, Lansford: Charged with riot, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and disorderly conduct on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• James Beard, 30, Lansford: Charged with riot, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, defiant trespass on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• Richard Rodweller, 41, Lansford: Charged with riot, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• Casey Rodweller, no age available, Lansford: Charged with riot, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• Arthur Rodweller, 20, Lansford: Charged with riot, simple assault, disorderly conduct, recklessly endangering another person on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• Phillip Argott, 19, Lansford: Charged with riot, disorderly conduct on June 15. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 19 before Kosciolek.

• Three juveniles were also charged in the same incident on June 15.

• Michael D. Blake, 40, homeless: Charged with defiant trespass on June 12. He pleaded guilty at a preliminary hearing on June 21, and was sentenced to jail, with credit for time served since June 12.

• Ashly L. Thomas, 32, Lansford: Charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution on March 1. The charges were sent to Carbon County court after a preliminary hearing on July 5.

• Sara Mertz, 30, Lansford: Charged with criminal attempt — use/possession of drug paraphernalia on June 16. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2 before Kosciolek.

• Shawn D. Ketchledge, 39, Whitehall: Charged with burglary and conspiracy on March 29. The charges were sent to Carbon County court after a preliminary hearing on July 5.

• Jamal G. Treadwell, 42, Lansford: Charged with simple assault and harassment on May 1. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Aug. 2 before Kosciolek.

• Robert C. Ahn III, 37, Lansford: Charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment on April 8. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 24 before Kosciolek.

• Russell B. Woodward, 49, Lansford: Charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on June 28. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. July 26 before Kosciolek.
