Carbon County Fair board to meet

The Carbon County Fair monthly board meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on July 20 at the Blue Mountain Hospital, Gnaden Campus community room, located on the ground floor.

An additional board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the Bowmanstown Lions stand at the fairgrounds.

All members are asked to attend.

Any individual or organization interested in becoming a display vendor at the 2017 fair is asked to call Bob Silliman at 570-657-7129.

With the exception of potato pancakes, all food vendor sites are full.

Anyone who would like to become involved with the fair is asked to contact the fair at ccllfa@ptd.net.

The fair will be held Aug. 7-12 on Little Gap Road in Palmerton.
