Lehighton police report crash

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 3:42 a.m. July 21 along East Lizard Creek Road, near Blue Mountain Road, in East Penn Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Kevin Horvath, 40, of Lehighton, was driving an Acura TSX westbound when he lost control driving off the right side of the road and striking a mailbox at 2443 East Lizard Creek Road.

Horvath was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. The Acura had to be towed.
