Bariatric Support Group to meet
The Bariatric Support Group at Blue Mountain Health System will meet at 6 p.m. Mondayin the community room at the Gnaden Huetten Campus, 211 N. 12th St. in Lehighton.
Guest speaker, Kathy Karanink, art therapist at Blue Mountain Health System, will speak about relaxation and stress reduction and will lead the group in an art project designed to exercise the mind and body.
The Bariatric Support Group is open to people who have had bariatric surgery, who have been thinking about getting the surgery, who are pre-op in the journey or post-op and want a support.
Bring a friend or family member. There is no fee to attend.
Education, ongoing motivation, peer support and accountability are some of the benefits you'll receive when you join the group.
