Music in the Park at Kennedy Park, Lansford

Music in the Park takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kennedy Park at the gazebo, located next to the Panther Valley Football Stadium in Lansford, on Route 209.

Appearing will be the father-daughter duo of Don and Donna Nye of Port Carbon. They are the founding members of the Kings and Queens Band. They play classic rock, '50s and '60s, good-time oldies and country.

Sponsored by the Lansford Alive Events Committee. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Bring a lawn chair.
