Palmerton police report

Palmerton Police Department reports the following incidents:

Criminal trespass: Justin Mooney, 28, of Lehighton, was charged for an incident Aug. 22 on Route 248 east.

Unlawful possession of controlled substance: Jeffrey Woolson, 48, of Palmerton, was charged for possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, for an incident Aug. 3 on Hillside Avenue.

Public drunkenness: Raymond Mayers Jr, 30, of Lehighton, was charged for public drunkenness and restrictions on use of limited access highways.

Underage drinking: Adam Dasilva, 19, of Albrightsville, was charged with underage drinking and loitering and prowling at night, for an incident Aug. 10 at Lehigh Avenue and First Street.

DUI: Ronald Strohl, 64, of Palmerton, was charged with two counts of DUI, and careless driving, for an incident June 12 at Route 248 and Mauch Chunk Road.

Loitering: Kyle Devlin, 20, of Albrightsville, was charged for loitering and prowling at night, for an incident Aug. 10 at Lehigh Avenue and First Street.

Maximum gross weight: Jhonny Ramos, 32, of Hollis, New York, was charged with maximum gross weight, for an incident Aug. 22 in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.

Maximum axle weight: Yordank Brito-Vargas, 33, of Secacus, New Jersey, charged with maximum axle weight, for an incident Aug. 23 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Other: Police also issued seven citations for vehicle violations, and one each for speeding and traffic violations.
