Tamaqua area students take the stage in ‘The Addams Family Musical’

Three students from the Tamaqua area will be performing in “The Addams Family Musical” presented by DM Performance Works at Performance Works Factory Theatre, 15 School St., in Nuremberg. The kooky, upside-down world of the Addams Family collides with the normal, respectable Beineke Family in this musical comedy sure to keep you entertained from beginning to end. Michael Ecker, a Marian Catholic senior from Quakake, plays Gomez Addams; Sydney Powell, a Commonwealth Charter Academy Senior from Hometown, plays Morticia Addams; and Olivia Stettler, a Marian Catholic sophomore from Tamaqua, plays Alice Beineke. Show dates are 7 p.m. Friday; 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.ticketpeak.com/dmpw. Children 3 and under are free.
