October 27, 1960 — Donnie Fredericks throws for two touchdowns and runs for another to lead Lansford to a 26-14 victory over Cass Township. Fredericks tosses a 7-yard scoring strike to Mike Karnish in the opening quarter to get the Panthers on the board. After losing the lead, Fredericks throws a 26-yard pass to set up his 1-yard tally that puts his team ahead for good. Bobby Gelatko extends the Lansford advantage with a 45-yard scoring run, while another Fredericks-to-Karnish TD pass seals the win.
