Lehighton Borough Council

Lehighton Borough Council approved the following this week:

• Purchase of a 2018 Ford F250 XL for the Light & Power Department for $40,406.

• Hired Entech Engineering Inc. to measure Inflow and Infiltration, and develop a remediation plan to reduce fees to the Carbon County Municipal Authority, with the first phase of the project estimated to cost $1,500.

• Advertise the 1990 Ford F350 Pick Up truck for the fire department upon delivery of a new pickup truck.

• Accepted the resignation of Valerie Dailey from the borough’s Parks and Recreation Board, and agreed to advertise for a new member.

• Accepted the resignation of Brenda Koons as deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, and agreed to advertise for a new deputy EMC.
