Tamaqua junior high girls finish season

Tamaqua closed out its junior high girls basketball season with games against Panther Valley and Mahanoy Area.

JR. HIGH BASKETBALL

8TH GRADE

Tamaqua-Panther Valley

Tamaqua posted a 37-26 victory over Panther Valley.

Zoe Seltzer led the Raiders with a season-high 17 points. Trenyce Wingler added 10 points and McKenna Meckes chipped in eight.

For Panther Valley, Robin led the way with 24 points.

Tamaqua-Mahanoy Area

Mahanoy Area edged Tamaqua, 34-33.

Trenyce Wingler topped the Raiders with 16 points. Zoe Seltzer added eight points

Tamaqua ended its season with an 11-9 record.

7TH GRADE

Tamaqua-Mahanoy Area

Mahanoy Area defeated Tamaqua, 21-13.

Callista Fannock scored six points to lead the Raiders.
