State police at Fern Ridge announce DUI charges

State police at Fern Ridge have announced DUI charges resulting from recent incidents.

• Martha A. Braun, 54, of Albrightsville, was charged after her vehicle rolled down a hill while she was trying to exit it. The vehicle struck a tree. The alleged incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Sept. 23 along Route 903. Braun was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

• Brandon Thomas Clark of Pocono Lake was charged after a traffic stop on Route 940 in Tobyhanna Township on Sept. 1. Police said they stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined the driver, Clark, was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence. No further details were available.
