Nesquehoning Woman’s Club
The November meeting of the Nesquehoning Woman’s Club will be held Nov. 6 in the social rooms of Zion Lutheran Church, 2 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. The members will be entertained by vocalist Vanessa Vicoso. After the business meeting, refreshments will be served by hostesses Barbara Priadka and Ayn Lynn Malkin.
The December dinner meeting will be held at Macaluso’s on Dec. 4. Call Judy Moon, 570-669-9093, to make your reservation.
All women in the area are welcome. You do not have to be a resident of Nesquehoning to join the club.

The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Nov. 6 to 10 is:
Monday: Barley soup and shredded pork sandwich or chicken Cobb salad
Tuesday: Meatloaf and mashed potatoes or grilled chicken salad
Wednesday: French onion soup, chef salad with chicken
Thursday: Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes and apple pie
Friday: Closed
The senior center has also announced upcoming events for Nov. 6 to 17.
Crafts on Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m.; bingo Nov. 7 at 11 a.m.; corn hole on Nov. 8 at 11 a.m.; Remember Our Veterans on Nov. 9 at 11 a.m.; center will be closed on Nov. 10 in honor of Veterans Day.
Now You Have It Now You Don’t on Nov. 13 at 11 a.m.; birthday and bingo on Nov. 14 at 11 a.m.; Erin Fox from The Palmerton will be at the center for a mini health fair on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m.; a Boscov’s shopping trip on CCCT at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 16, the center will be open for lunch and games; movie and popcorn on Nov. 17 starting at 10 a.m.
