Monroe man facing charges

A Monroe County man is facing charges following an incident that was reported at 12:05 p.m. on Sept. 20.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the Mount Pocono Motel for a report of a cellphone being stolen.

On scene the victim identified Jose I. Lugo-Camacho, 20, of Tobyhanna, as the person who stole the cell phone. Lugo-Camacho was found to be in possession of the stolen cellphone. He also had small amount of marijuana.

Lugo-Camacho was charged with possession of marijuana. possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
