Coaldale will hold tree lighting

Santa will be in Coaldale early this year for the borough’s annual Christmas Tree lighting.

The event will take place at 5 p.m. Nov. 26 at borough hall.

The program includes carol singing, Santa arriving on a firetruck and giving out small gifts to children 12 and under. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available.

The CHOSE organization will also hold a Who-dale Brunch at the Coaldale Complex on Dec. 10 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Children 12 and under receive free brunch, Christmas games and some Grinch mischief.
