Red Ribbon Week celebrated at Franklin Elementary

  • Empty

Red Ribbon Week was an exciting time at Franklin Elementary. This year’s nationwide theme was “Your Future is Key, So Stay Drug Free.” A student ambassador was chosen from each third- and fourth-grade homeroom based on character and being a good role model. They were treated to a special healthy lunch in the guidance office and earned sports items as prizes. Hopefully these activities will have a lasting impact on the children and their families for a drug free future. Student ambassadors include, from left, Nicholas Gaumer, Aleea Yeakel, Caden Meek, Abigail Wilusz and Brianna Abbott. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
