Lansford Alive has lots planned for small business Saturday

This Saturday Lansford Alive welcome a new business to West Ridge Street, celebrate Christmas in the Park, and mark the 100th birthday of a borough native.

From 10 a.m. to noon, the nonprofit will celebrate the grand opening of the new Gathering Grounds coffee house and Serina’s Bakery. The businesses are located at 36 W. Ridge St.

It’s also Small Business Saturday, which is being marked by businesses around the borough.

The day will conclude with Christmas in the park at Kennedy Park from 5-7 p.m. The event includes singing, a tree lighting, Santa’s arrival, and a special 100th birthday celebration for borough resident Agnes Mikulsky.
