Polk home destroyed by fire
A home was destroyed by fire Friday afternoon along Greenwood Road in Polk Township. The dwelling is in Robin Hood Lakes just off Dotters Corner Road in Jonas. Fire crews from Carbon County were called to assist to fight the fire that broke out just after 3 p.m. Smoke from the fire could be seen as far away as Country Junction.
