High-traffic Santa hands out treats

Santa Claus waves to motorists and invites them to stop for a treat on Saturday along Route 309 in Hometown. Those who stopped at the Five Points traffic light were treated to fresh oranges and a boxed fruit drink. Assisting Santa was elf Rebekah Lynne Tolar. The event was sponsored by Tammy Sword Realty to promote Small Business Saturday in recognition of the year-long contributions small businesses make to our communities. DONALD R.
