N. Lehigh approves creation of Girls on the Run club

A girls-only club that encourages positive development will get underway this spring in the Northern Lehigh School District.

At a special meeting on Monday, the school board approved the request of the Slatington Elementary administration to create Girls on the Run club.

The club encourages positive emotional, social, mental and physical development.

It will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for one-and-a-half hours from March through June.
