Criminal mischief cases reported to police

Two criminal mischief incidents are being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

The first incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 6 at the intersection of routes 209 and 476 in Franklin Township.

The victim is Treesmiths Inc. of Spring Brook.

Police said someone cut several wires to the company’s trucks and removed batteries from them.

The second incident was reported as having happened between 10 p.m. Nov. 8 and 8 a.m. Nov. 9 on East Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township.

The victim is a 46-year-old Lehighton man, who reported someone punctured the front passenger tire of his Volkswagen.
