Women arrested after argument in Chestnuthill

A 37-year-old woman was arrested and jailed after an argument in Chestnuthill Township turned physical.

State police at Lehighton said the incident happened at 2 a.m. Nov. 10 in the township.

Police said the accused was involved in the verbal altercation with a 33-year-old man. Police said she punched the man and caused him bodily injury.

The woman was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in Snydersville. Police did not release her name.
