Schuylkill crash investigated

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a one-vehicle crash at 1:48 p.m. on Monday along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Danielle N. Worthington, 31, of Minersville, was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy southbound near the Mount Carbon Arch, when she applied the brakes on her vehicle in an attempt to negotiate a left curve.

Worthington lost control of her vehicle, which then turned a quarter clockwise and then a complete rollover. The vehicle struck a center barrier as it continued south. The Envoy came to rest facing west in the left lane on its wheels.

Worthington was not injured.

Troopers cited her for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
