Snowfall adds authenticity to Santa Train rides in Tamaqua

Snow arrived just in time to give Santa and Mrs. Claus a winter welcome to Tamaqua on Saturday. The jolly Claus couple escorted families on three Reading and Northern southbound train excursions from the Tamaqua depot. The train rumbled along the historic Little Schuylkill Railroad course, where riders had an opportunity to have their photo taken with the North Pole visitors during a 70-minute trip. DONALD R.
