Over $100,000 stolen from Schuylkill business

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of $103,000 from a Schuylkill County business.

Troopers said a safe at the Weiner Iron & Metal Corporation, located at 1056 Route 61 South, North Manheim Township, was broken open and the money removed.

The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. The criminals gained access into the office building and were able to remove the money from the safe. A security camera screenshot was able to capture a photo of the suspect, who was wearing a mask.
