Schuylkill County crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two- vehicle crash at 5:46 p.m. on Monday along Route 901 in Cressona borough.

Troopers said Anissa K. Roberson, 34, of Philadelphia, was driving a 2013 BMW 535i eastbound, while Amanda I. Smith, 38, of Minersville, was eastbound operating a 2000 Pontiac Firebird. Troopers said Roberson failed to see Smith stopped in front of her and she struck the rear of Smith’s vehicle.

Smith sustained a minor injury and was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. Roberson was not injured.

Troopers cited Roberson for following too closely and Smith for driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.
