JT tops Oley Vy. Olympians capture victory in Florida

The Jim Thorpe girls rolled to an easy victory in the KSA Events’ Holiday Classic Tournament in Orlando, FL.

Jim Thorpe traveled to Florida and got a matchup with a team from Pennsylvania.

The Olympians rolled to a 56-32 victory over Oley Valley behind 26 points from Kayley Kovac. Payton Kovac also had a strong game with 12 points.

Thorpe is 1-1 during its trip to the ESPN Wide World of Sports facility in Orlando.

The Olympians (3-1) will see another Pennsylvania team on Saturday when they face Lincoln Park Academy.

Tamaqua edged North Schuylkill, 35-29.

Steven Hoffman paced the Blue Raiders with a game-high 21 points.
