Palmerton police report

Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Forgery: Ryan Rehrig, 37, Hunter Creek, was charged with forgery, identity theft, criminal conspiracy, theft by deception and theft of services, for an incident in August 2012.

Burglary: Michael Smith, 26, Walnutport, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and loitering and prowling at night, for an incident that occurred between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28 in the 800 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

Disorderly conduct: Jared Troost, 26, Palmerton, was charged with disorderly conduct, for an incident Dec. 8 in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue.

DUI: Ronald Betz, 63, Palmerton, was charged with DUI, careless driving, and driving on right side of roadway, for an incident Dec. 2 at Franklin Avenue and Mauch Chunk Road.

Junking of vehicles prohibited: Dareena Clay, 39, Palmerton, was charged with junking of vehicles prohibited, for an incident Dec. 8 in the 400 block of Third Street.

Citations: Police also issued nine citations for vehicle violations, five for speeding, and one for traffic violations.
