December 21, 1981 — Glen Leidy hit four free throws in overtime to help Pleasant Valley pull out a 62-58 victory over Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg. Tom Conklin, whose jumper in the extra frame gives the Bears the lead for good, finishes with a game-high 27 points and also adds nine rebounds. Leidy ends the contest with 15 points and eight boards. The Bears, coached by Bill Kozicki, rebound from a seven-point deficit in the first half. PV also receives eight points from Mike Ruttcoscky.
