Children’s party

The annual Children’s Christmas party at the Diligent Fire Co. will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday. The event is open to children up to age 10.

Church services

There will be no Saturday evening services at St. John’s Lutheran Church, South Ave., on Dec. 24 and Dec. 30. The Christmas Eve service of Holy Communion will begin at 7 p.m., and on Dec. 31, the service of Holy Communion will be at 10:30 a.m. with lessons and carols.
