Troopers use Narcan to counter overdose

State police at the Lehighton reported they had to administer Narcan to a man who overdosed on Dec. 22 at 4:30 p.m. on Elderberry Circle in Carbon County.

Police said the 33-year-old victim was then transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, for treatment. The West End Ambulance personnel assisted officers at the scene.
