A Carbon County pub has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the liquor code.

Reiley's Pub, located at 1550 Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, was cited on April 7 for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of license based on the severity of the charge brought.
