Passed out driver charged in Penn Forest

Darius S. Clark, 23, of Albrightsville, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia following an incident at 1:41 a.m. Dec. 27 in Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said they were summoned to assist the development’s security officers in the incident at the intersection of Buckhill and Mountain roads, where Clark was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle at a stop sign.

Police said he showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.
