Fire crews battle garage blaze in Lehighton
Firefighters from Lehighton, Franklin and Mahoning are on scene of a large three-story garage fire in Lehighton.
The fire broke out shortly after 6 p.m. and was fully involved when crews arrived. Flames were shooting out of the second and third floors, according to reports from the scene.
Volunteers brought coffee and hot chocolate to the scene to help the volunteer firefighters dealing with frigid temperatures.
The fire is at the intersection of Carbon Alley and East Alley North, near the post office.
