Car goes down embankment in West Penn

West Penn township police are investigating a crash which occurred Thursday afternoon along Route 443. The incident was about a half mile west of South Tamaqua. Apparently a driver was traveling west and for some reason lost control sliding across the roadway down a steep embankment. The occupants of the car were being evaluated by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance.
