A look back: January 17, 1979
Three men were reappointed by the Carbon County Commissioners to positions with county agencies.
They are: Theodore Hinger, East Seventh Street, Jim Thorpe, Recreation Authority; Vincent D. McFadden, 363 W. Broadway, Jim Thorpe, Industrial Development Authority; and Robert Steele, 495 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, Convalescent Home Building Authority.
All of their terms expired on Dec. 31, 1978, and their new five-year terms will continue until Dec. 31, 1983.
In other business, Judge John P. Lavelle announced the appointments of Judith Fatzinger, probation officer 1; Joann Protivnak, intake officer; and Deborah Tout, bookkeeper, all in the Domestic Relations Office.
