Attempted burglary reported in Towamensing Township
An attempted burglary in the 1000 block of Laurel Lane in Towamensing Township is under investigation by state police at the Lehighton barracks.
It happened between midnight Jan. 15 and midnight Jan. 18. The victim is a 65-year-old man from Stroudsburg.
He reported that someone attempted to gain entry to his residence but failed to do so.
