A look back: January 6, 1961

Judge Albert H. Heimbach handed down orders in county court appointing committees to draft resolutions on the late Raymond F. Smith, Esq., Palmerton, and Frank S. Riordan, Esq., formerly of Lansford.

Attorneys Albert Prutzman, George T. McKinley and Thomas S. McCready are directed to draft the resolution for Smith, who died March 5, 1960, and attorneys John Cipko, George Brinley Richards and Eugene Edelstein are to document the life of Riordan, who died Dec. 23, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware.

Prothonotary Joseph Modrick is directed to make note of the deaths in the minutes of the court after the committees make their reports to the court on April 10.
