A look back: January 26, 1965

The four communities that make up the Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation are in the process of reorganizing personnel. Two have re-elected directors whose terms were expiring.

William McDonald and attorney George M.D. Richards were re-elected to three-year terms to serve as Lansford directors. Other Lansford directors are Eugene O’Donnell, Agnes McCartney, Mrs. Edwin Sweeney, Thomas Chapman and Willard Volkert.

Coaldale directors renamed Evelyn Gaydos, chairman, John Puschak, Paul Sheers, Thomas Richards, Fred Sweeney and Joseph Lotwick.

The boroughs of Nesquehoning and Summit Hill will act on their appointments next month.
