Fraud case probed in Monroe County

State Police at Lehighton are investigating an identity theft case in Monroe County.

Police said the victim is a 73-year-old man who lives on Eagle Drive in Eldred Township.

Police said someone stole the victim's identity and made unauthorized transactions with use of the victim's Chase debit card.

The fraud took place between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. May 26.
