Road work for Feb. 4-9, 2018

Lane restrictions will be in place on roadways around the area as PennDOT conducts maintenance.

All restrictions are for pothole patching and will take place between 7 a.m.-3 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

Work could be delayed by rain and snow.

• Interstate 80 east, Kidder Township, between the Luzerne County line and Monroe County line, Monday and Tuesday.

• I-80 west, Kidder Township, between the Monroe County line and Luzerne County line, Tuesday and Wednesday.

• Route 248 east and west, Franklin and Towamensing townships, between Route 209 and the Northampton County line, Monday through Thursday.

• Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township, between Blue Mountain Drive and the Monroe County line, Monday through Friday.

• Route 309, West Penn Township, between the Lehigh County line and Hometown, all week.

• Mill Pond Road, Polk Township, between Route 209 and Gilbert/Weir Mountain Road, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. this week, for test boring work.

• Route 715, Chestnut­hill Township, between Route 209 and Mountain Road, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.

• Main Street, Washington Township, between Route 873 and the Northampton County line, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. daily, for bridge repair.
